Aleksandra Grigoryan crowned European Under-23 champion

Armenian weightlifters continue to perform successfully at the European Junior and Under-23 Championships.

According to the Armenian Weightlifting Federation’s press service, national team member Aleksandra Grigoryan won gold in the women’s 57 kg category at the championships taking place in Albania.

Grigoryan lifted 85 kg and 90 kg in the snatch, winning gold in the discipline. She also finished first in the clean and jerk, lifting 106 kg, 109 kg and 112 kg.

With a combined total of 202 kg, Grigoryan has once again won gold at the European Championships.
