YEREVAN, OCTOBER 27, ARMENPRESS: Requiem service was held in Etchmiadzin Cathedral on October 27, for the victims of the terrorism act in Armenian National Assembly and Lieutenant Gurgen Margaryan who was killed in Hungary. The service was initiated by His Holiness Karekin II Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians. As Armenpress was informed from the informational system of Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Catholicos of All Armenian addressed to the family of Gurgen Margaryan and all the presents, referring to the tragic events of October 27, 1999 and the crime committed against a young serviceman Gurgen Margaryan.
His Holiness urged the presents to always remember the martyrs in their prayers to keep their memorial.
