President Sargsyan hosted Sergey Naryshkin

YEREVAN, JULY 24, ARMENPRESS: President Serzh Sargsyan on July 24 hosted the delegation headed by the Chairman of the State Duma of Russian Federation Sergey Naryshkin. Armenpress was informed from President’s press office that Serzh Sargsyan expressed hope that the visit of Chairman of the State Duma of Russian Federation will give new impetus to Armenian-Russian strategic relations. Armenian President highly estimated the personal investment of Sergey Naryshkin in the sphere of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. President of the Republic highlighted that Armenia is interested in more deepening relations with Russia which is based on strong historic bases. In Serzh Sargsyan’s words those unshakable relations are the cornerstone of the security of our country.

Chairman of the State Duma of Russian Federation also recorded with satisfaction the high level of strategic partnership between two countries and highlighted that Russia highly estimates the development of relations and cooperation with Armenia which had more activated during the last ten years. Sergey Naryshkin stressed the importance of the role of inter-parliamentary diplomacy in the strengthening of relations between two countries and assured that with colleagues from Armenian Parliament they would do their best in order to deepen the cooperation.
