Serzh Sargsyan held a meeting with Ukrainian President

YEREVAN, JULY 2, ARMENPRESS: President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan during his working visit to Kiev held a meeting with the President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych. Armenpress reports calling the official website of Ukrainian President that during the meeting issues relating to mutual cooperation had been discussed.

At the beginning of the meeting Ukrainian President particularly said: “I am ready to discuss with you issues relating to mutual and trade-economic relations”. Serzh Sargsyan left for Ukraine on July 1st. he watched the final match of EURO 2012 with Victor Yanukovych and other high ranked officials.

The diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and Ukraine were established on December 25, 1992.

The Embassy of Armenia in Kiev opened in 1993.

The Embassy of Ukraine in Yerevan opened in 1996.
