Armenian President met with EPP president Wilfried Martens

YEREVAN, JUNE 29, ARMENPRESS: President of the Republic of Armenia, chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan held a meeting with the president of European People’s Party Wilfried Martens in Brussels on June 28. Armenpress was informed from Armenian President’s press office that the interlocutors discussed issues relating to expanding the cooperation between Republican Party of Armenia and European People’s Party, Armenia-European Union relations, the implementation of comprehensive reforms in Armenia, political environment, steps which are implemented for strengthening the democracy in our country as well as issues relating to regional developments and challenges.

During the conversation it had been mutually stressed the importance of membership of RPA deputies in APPP groups of inter-parliamentary bodies.
