YEREVAN, MARCH 15, ARMENPRESS. Mashtots park neighborhood park activists' tent was dismantled. The police issued a message; indicating that the installation of tents or other similar items is prohibited in public places. What refers to the tent located on March 13 the police did not take actions for preventing the situation become tenser, Police told Armenpress.
The police warned the activists that installation of tents is the violation of public order. It is the duty of the police in the case of not long lasting public disorder to close an eye, whereas later on after providing reasonable opportunity to eliminate the violations, take proper actions.
On March 14, 21:30 pm. police requested the citizens in the tent to dismantle their interim flat. The request was not executed after which the police by its own means dismantled the tent. The activists refused to take back the tent; which is currently in the Central police Division and the owners can take return it at any time they want.
The police considers it necessary to once again warn that public actions might not be accompanied by violations of public order .So to prevent such like incidents the police granted by law presses them.
