Serzh Sargsyan’s Brussels visit launched

YEREVAN, MARCH 5, ARMENPRESS: During his working visit to Brussels Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan will hold meetings with a number of high-ranking European officials. On March 6 the president's meeting with President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso is intended. On the same day the President will hold meetings with NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen and President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy, Armenpress reports citing the official website of the European Commission.

Within the framework of the visit Serzh Sargsyan will participate in North-Atlantic Council+Armenia sitting and will deliver a speech at Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

President will also meet with European Parliament Speaker Martin Schulz, Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Štefan Füle, European People's Party President Wilfried Martens.

On the first day of his visit to Brussels the head of the republic held a meeting with President of the Belgian Senate Sabine de Bethune, and in the evening the president's meeting with representatives of Armenian organizations of Belgium is intended.
