YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 15, ARMENPRESS: Within the framework of events dedicated to the 1050th anniversary of declaration of Ani as capital, three-language album-book "Ani" has been issued. Director of "Research on Armenian Architecture" Foundation Samvel Karapetyan said the book for the first time presents measurements of many buildings of Ani which were not found after the quarter-century of studies.
He said the book is intended both for specialists and those interested in pictures.
"Ani" illustrated album-book comprises of different parts, each starting with similar plan. The book is rich in pictures of monuments and buildings, Karapetyan said.
He said architects conducted researches in Ani for just a week. The book presents 600 photos.
Samvel Karapetyan said the book will soon appear in bookstores.
