British companies interested in making investments in Armenia

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS:

Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan received today British Ambassador to Armenia Charles Lonsdale, who is ending his mission in Armenia. "I think you have made great efforts in developing and boosting Armenian-British relations. You have greatly contributed to it," the head of the government said.

The outgoing Ambassador said that during his tenure a serious progress has been registered in different directions. "I am convinced that in near future as well I will see the progress of Armenia. Great Britain is greatly interested in developing relations with Armenia," Charles Lonsdale said. He informed that few British companies are interested in making investments in Armenia.

Governmental press services reported that the interlocutors referred to the Armenia-EU relations, reforms ongoing in the country and other issues.

The Prime Minister wished Ambassador success in his further activity.
