Short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in Yerevan in the afternoon of August 28, on August 29-31, as well as at night and in the afternoon of September 1-2.
Wind speeds of 18-23 m/s are expected during thunderstorms and in the evening hours, the Hydro-Meteorology and Monitoring Center said.
Across Armenia, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in most regions in the afternoon of August 28, on August 29-31, as well as at night and in the afternoon of September 1. Rain and thunderstorms are forecast in separate regions on September 2.
Heavy rain is expected in some regions on August 28-31 and September 1-2. Hail is also possible.
Winds will be southeasterly and easterly at 4-7 m/s. During thunderstorms, wind speeds may reach 20-25 m/s.
Daytime temperatures will gradually decrease by 7-9°C from August 28-31.
