Cooler weather up ahead, meteorologists say

Temperatures will drop by 3-5 degrees Celsius on September 28-29, with occasional precipitation expected in Armenia in the coming days, according to meteorologists.

According to the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center, in Yerevan, no precipitation is expected during the day on September 26 and on September 27. Short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected from time to time on the evenings of September 28 and 30, as well as on September 29 and October 1. Wind speeds are expected to increase to 16-19 m/s during thunderstorms.

Elsewhere across the country, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in some areas during the day on September 26, September 28 and September 30, and in most areas from time to time on September 29 and October 1. Hail is also possible. No precipitation is expected on September 27 and during the nights of September 28 and 30.

Winds will be southwesterly at 2-5 m/s, increasing to 17-20 m/s during thunderstorms.
