The next NATO summit will be held in Albania, although the exact date has not yet been determined, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has said.
Speaking at a press conference following the Alliance’s summit in Ankara, Rutte said: “The next summit will certainly take place in Albania, but the date has yet to be decided.”
Earlier, Bloomberg reported that NATO leaders were considering postponing the summit in Albania, originally scheduled for 2027, in an effort to avoid possible new disagreements with the United States.
