Amundi-Acba, Armenia’s leading pension fund manager, reports 750 billion AMD in assets for 2025

Amundi-Acba, the leading asset manager of Armenia’s pension funds, announced on Tuesday that it had 750 billion AMD in assets by the end of 2025.

Amundi-Acba CEO Jean Mazedjian said at a press conference on their 2025 activities that there has been noticeable progress in the number of people participating in pension funds.

"Over more than a decade, our company has built a reliable track record of steady growth and has made a significant impact on the development of Armenia’s financial system. Currently, our company manages the pension assets of around 558,000 individuals," he said.

According to the senior executive, twenty-six percent of the 750 billion comes from income generated through management. Around 64% of the assets have been invested in Armenia, while the remainder is diversified across international markets. The focus has been on various sectors, including information technology, finance, industry, healthcare, energy, real estate, and more.

Deputy CEO Hrayr Aslanyan, in charge of investments, highlighted recent legislative changes that have enabled new opportunities.

"There have been very important legislative changes that allow pension funds to make direct investments in the real sector of the economy. In this regard, we have seen quite positive developments, and I believe that in the near future we will inform the public about this," he said.

Amundi-Acba is also focusing on key infrastructure in Armenia. In particular, investments have been made in the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA), which has critical infrastructure for the country’s economy.

"We have held meetings at ENA to understand the company’s prospects and its debt-servicing capabilities. The company’s management once again reaffirmed that they are ready to fully meet their financial obligations, including those to pension funds. We hope there will be opportunities for further cooperation. In the meantime, it is necessary to understand ENA’s legal status," he said.
