Talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan regarding the final signing of a peace treaty continue, but so far no date has been set, Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan said on November 26.
The Deputy Minister noted that contacts between the parties are ongoing.
Commenting on the border delimitation process, he said it is being carried out at the level of the heads of the border delimitation commissions of the two countries.
“We always share updates through statements on everything that happens in the process,” Safaryan said at a press briefing, emphasizing that the work has not stopped.
Asked about possible timelines for signing a peace agreement, the Deputy Minister said he could not provide specific dates.
Armenia and Azerbaijan initialed the peace treaty on August 8 in Washington, D.C.
