U.S. State Department officials visit Armenian Genocide memorial in Yerevan

The delegation led by Brendan Hanrahan, U.S. State Department’s Senior Bureau Official for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, visited on Friday the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan.

Brendan Hanrahan placed a wreath at the memorial, the museum’s administration said in a press release.

The U.S. officials then laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and observed a moment of silence in honor of the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.

Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan met with Hanrahan on Thursday.
