Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has rejected claims that he received proposals from the OSCE Minsk Group regarding the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict during his time in office.

Speaking at a press conference on July 16, Pashinyan reiterated that the document  was not addressed to him.

"I have not received any proposals from the OSCE Minsk Group. I have spoken about this publicly. What I received were the remnants of proposals previously presented to Serzh Sargsyan by the OSCE Minsk Group,” he stated.

Referring to the content of the document, Pashinyan said: “The paper you refer to as a proposal I received begins with the following: "The Presidents of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan…" That document was addressed to the President of the Republic of Armenia. I have never been the President of the Republic of Armenia,” he said.

The Prime Minister stressed that the document which later appeared on the Government’s table was the outcome of negotiations held during Serzh Sargsyan’s presidency.

“The paper that later appeared on our table is the result of negotiations conducted during Serzh Sargsyan’s tenure as president,” Pashinyan concluded.
