EUMA reaffirms commitment to supporting regional stability

The EU monitoring mission in Armenia (EUMA) has reiterated its commitment to supporting stability in the region.
“Around the clock, our patrols monitor the Armenian side of the border with Azerbaijan, committed to observing the situation on the ground and supporting stability in the region,” EUMA said in a post on X.
EUMA, a civilian mission, was launched in 2023 at the request of Armenia following Azeri incursions. The civilian mission observes and reports on the security situation along the Armenian side of the international border with Azerbaijan. In January 2025 the EU extended the mandate of the EUMA for another two years.
