Armenian Ambassador to Nepal presents credentials to President of Nepal

Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Nepal Vahagn Afyan (with residence in New Delhi) handed over his credentials to the President of Nepal, Ramchandra Paudel.

The Ambassador of Armenia to Nepal expressed his readiness to contribute to the efforts towards developing bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

During the conversation, the President of Nepal wished every success to the Ambassador of Armenia, the latter spoke about mutually beneficial cooperation both in bilateral and multilateral platforms, as well as the implementation of future initiatives. 

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nepal, the President’s Advisor on International Relations, the Chief of the Army Staff, the Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Secretary of the President’s Office, and other officials.

On April 29, Ambassador Afyan handed over copies of his credentials to the Chief of the Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal.

Vahagn Afyan also visited the premises of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Armenia in Nepal and explored the possibilities for carrying out relevant activities.
