The EU monitoring mission in Armenia (EUMA) has conducted a patrol in Syunik Province and confirmed the fact that Azeri shooting damaged civilian infrastructure in a border village.
The Azerbaijani military opened cross-border fire in the direction of the Khoznavar village, hitting a residential building, the Armenian Defense Ministry said in a press release on April 21.
EUMA said it conducted 27 patrols over Easter weekend.
“Over the Easter weekend EUMA conducted 27 day and night patrols in its Area of Operation including villages Khoznavar, Khnatsakh and Aravus. In Khoznavar EUMA observed the impact of two shots damaging civilian infrastructure, possibly originating from an AZ position in the area,” EUMA said on X.
