French Ambassador visits Meghri in Armenia’s Syunik province

French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies has visited Meghri, a town in Syunik Province. He met with Mayor Khachatur Andreasyan.

“The town of Meghri, on the banks of Araks, is located on the border with Iran. Few months ago it became a sister city with the French town of Bron. The decentralized cooperation between France and Armenia is encompassing the whole country. Thank you Mayor Khachatur Andreasyan for the reception,” the French ambassador said on X.
