Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan on Wednesday received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia, Claudia Bush to discuss the possibilities of bilateral technological cooperation.
According to the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, Hayrapetyan outlined the ministry's strategic priorities, from high technologies to digitalization, space technologies to cybersecurity.
The minister also touched upon the new seven-year program focused on the development of the technological sector, as well as other initiatives.
The parties discussed deepening mutually beneficial cooperation with Germany in the technological sector, highlighting the importance of attracting major German and EU transnational IT companies to Armenia.
Ambassador Bush, expressing gratitude for the warm reception, shared details of the ongoing joint efforts with Armenia in the field digitalization.
The Ambassador also highlighted the opportunities for cooperation presented by the minister and expressed a commitment to further strengthen cooperation in capacity development, startups, techno-industry, and other sectors contributing to the development of the industry.
