Georgia ready to further enhance strategic partnership with Armenia

Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili has expressed readiness to further expand the bilateral partnership with Armenia.

Botchorishvili made the remarks at a joint press conference with her Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan in Yerevan when asked by Armenpress to comment on the results of the strategic partnership agreement signed between the two countries last year.

The level of partnership and friendship between Yerevan and Tbilisi has existed for many centuries, Botchorishvili said.

“Today we are further deepening the ties and moving into the future. We are very happy to call it strategic partnership. This has great potential to further expand the content and circle of cooperation in various areas,” the Georgian FM said.

“The existing cooperation between Armenia and Georgia has strong foundations in many areas. We are ready to further enhance and enrich this relationship and the level of strategic partnership,” she added.
