David Yeremyan, the founder and CEO of  Yeremyan Projects, has summarized 2024, presenting achievements ranging from agriculture to hospitality, from education to the formation of healthy eating habits within society, from international cooperation to prospects for economic development in the country.

We summarize 2024 by recording successes in many areas. This year, we reaffirmed our strong will to develop Armenia through work, creativity, and new programs, continuing our path with renewed vigor. A path that is not only the path of our development but also directly linked to the progress of the homeland, international and regional recognition, tourism development, the formation of a healthy generation, and the establishment of a national brand. In 2024, we continued our activities in these areas with responsibility, perseverance, and professionalism.

Sustainable Development and Food Security: Our Concept for Agricultural Progress

Starting with agriculture, particularly pedigree livestock breeding, I must state that we are expanding in this sector. Our goal is to promote the modernization and progress of the sector through technological innovations, making it efficient and competitive, contributing to the sustainable development of human and institutional capacities, empowering rural communities, and enhancing food security.

Guided by the “From Seed to Table” concept as the basis for agricultural projects, our company has opened a new chapter in the dairy production sector in Armenia, setting the highest quality benchmark.

It all started in October 2023, when we opened our unique, smart, and precise pedigree cattle farm in the Tashir community of Lori province. This was further confirmed in May 2024 with the launch of a state-of-the-art milk processing plant, equipped with the latest technologies and compliant with ISO international standards. Today, we are one of the few manufacturers offering more than 50 types of products made exclusively from grade A milk, meeting the highest standards, completely natural, healthy, and pure. We can also proudly note that Yeremyan dairy products are on the path to becoming a national brand, showcasing the unparalleled quality of Armenian products to the world and earning the unwavering trust of the public.

One of the key components of our agricultural development strategy is the Yeremyan FARM FEST, held annually. With the FARM FEST, held for the third time in the fall of 2024 in the Tashir community of Lori region, we reaffirmed our commitment to reforms in the agricultural sector and the purposefulness of regional positioning. Indeed, the agricultural sector can be modernized and made sustainable through new technologies, relevant professional skills, and a steadfast willingness to develop the sector. In this mission, we are grateful to our partners from the Armenian government and international organizations.

We are also pleased to note the economic and social changes we can now observe in the Lori region as a result of our significant investments. For us, this is not only about production but also a mission to activate the region, create jobs, attract people, and equip farmers with new knowledge.

We Educate a Healthy Generation, Healthy Habits, and a Healthy Society

Our 20-year journey is, first and foremost, a path of changing social norms. Having launched large-scale dairy production, we also undertook educational campaigns promoting a healthy lifestyle—not only to introduce healthy products but also to educate a generation of consumers with healthy habits. As part of this effort, we created the “Milk to Schools” program, which we continued with great pleasure in 2024.

Having achieved behavioral changes in schools, a sharp increase in milk consumption, and long-term health benefits, this year we signed agreements with the UN World Food Program and the Eurasian Development Bank to expand the program. We are proud that about 1,350 students in grades 5-9 from 9 schools in Stepanavan, Tashir, Metsavan, and Yerevan now start their mornings with a glass of milk from Yeremyan Dairy.

We are confident that milk consumption should become a permanent part of daily life for all segments of Armenian society. The new Guinness World Record set by Yeremyan Dairy Products on World Milk Day aimed to promote mass milk consumption, during which 7,469 people drank a glass of milk in just 1 hour.

Professional Education and Culinary Diplomacy: We Speak to the World in the Language of Knowledge and Hospitality

Our next major event in 2024 was the celebration of the 5th anniversary of the Yeremyan Academy of Culinary Arts and Hospitality, the largest educational and revolutionary initiative of the Yeremyan Group of Companies for the industry. With 65 programs, nearly 2,000 graduates, and 40 international partners, the academy has brought international experience and standards to the industry. In partnership with the City of Oxford College in the UK, it has filled a huge educational gap in the fields of cooking and hospitality, and contributed to the development of culinary diplomacy.

This educational mission is a priority for us, as part of our ongoing effort to create lasting values that will remain under our care.

Having graduated from the Academy, hundreds of specialists annually begin their work in the hospitality industry, making restaurants interesting and beautiful and contributing to the development of the industry. Cooking is becoming a dream job, and we consider our 20-year contribution to raising the reputation and rating of a number of specialties in the hospitality industry as our success. We should also note that the Yermyan Academy, is firmly taking steps to become the ambassador of Armenian culinary traditions around the world.

Of course, summing up the year, I cannot help but mention the 17 restaurants of the group of companies, which remain beloved and in demand by both locals and foreign visitors to the city, who know our restaurants “by face.” Yes, each of our restaurant concepts has its own face, and we know that our guests remember these faces with a smile and warmth. With the same warmth as they remember Yerevan, its hospitality, color, taste and smell.

Being at the forefront of the Armenian hospitality industry and having made a significant contribution to positioning Armenia as a gastrotourism destination, our goal was to add another important landmark to the global map that could offer Armenian haute cuisine, ancient culture, and exclusive services. This goal has now become a reality: this sector of the economy has experienced rapid growth over the years, transforming Armenia into a hotspot for gastrotourism.

We are grateful to the nearly 1.26 million guests who have chosen our restaurants this year. We also thank the more than half a million tourists who have selected us on the world’s gastronomic map over the past year.
