Magnitude 4.2 earthquake in Georgia felt in Armenia

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. A magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck Georgia late on December 28 at 15:44 local time (11:44 GMT).

The quake was 8 km northwest of the city of Dmanisi and at a depth of 10 km, the Rescue Service of the Armenian Interior Ministry reported.

The tremors were felt in the city of Gyumri and the villages of Bavra, Ghazanchi, Ashotsk, and Musayelyan in the Shirak region, as well as in the cities of Tashir and Stepanavan and the villages of Metsavan, Sarchapet, and Mikhayelovka in the Lori region, with a magnitude of 3–4.
