EU norms and standards of urban development to be used in Armenia

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. The Urban Development Committee plans to localize and approximate in 2025 the EU norms and standards in construction, the Urban Development Committee of Armenia Chairman Yeghiazar Vardanyan has said.

The move will enable construction companies, designers and workers to benefit from the best European experience.

“This will allow to not only improve the methodology of organizing the construction, but to introduce new technologies in the sector, and to implement projects with higher norms with European experience,” Vardanyan said, expressing certainty that thus the energy-efficiency, convenience and functionality of buildings will be ensured.
