Aram I suggests to US Ambassador to Lebanon that the United States provide assistance in reopening the Lachin Corridor

YEREVAN, JANUARY 11, ARMENPRESS. On January 11, Catholicos Aram I received the Ambassador of the United States of America to Lebanon, Dorothy Shea.

As ARMENPRESS was informed from the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia, the meeting lasting more than an hour was an opportunity to make a general assessment of the current situation in Lebanon and to address the presidential election and socio-economic anxiety in particular.

His Holiness also referred to the current worrisome situation in Artsakh and suggested to the Ambassador that the United States provide the necessary assistance for the reopening of the Berdzor Corridor (Lachin Corridor) driven by humanitarian concern.
