Macron warmly greets Vigen Chitechyan at a reception given for him
YEREVAN, MARCH 14, ARMENPRESS. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to France Vigen Chitechyan participated in a reception given for the newly elected French President Emmanuel Macron. “Armenpress” reports, citing Nouvelles d`Armenie, Macron warmly greeted Vigen Chitechyan. The reception was organized by Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo.
On May 14 the inauguration ceremony of the 8th French President took place at the Élysée Palace.
On April 24 Macron participated in Paris the event dedicated to the 102th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide and laid flowers on Komitas’s monument. He also had announced about the importance of adopting the bill criminalizing the denial of the Armenian Genocide.
