Statue of “Ararat 73” football team to be erected in Yerevan

YEREVAN, MAY 25, ARMENPRESS. On May 25 the City Council of Yerevan has approved to erect the statue of the legendary “Ararat 73” football team near “Hrazdan” stadium, press service of Yerevan Municipality informed "Armenpress".

The sculptor of the statue of “Ararat 73” football team is Vladimir Antashyan.

During the Soviet Times, the team won the Top League and the Soviet Cup in 1973.
