Situation remains same in contact line during past week

YEREVAN, APRIL 16, ARMENPRESS. The situation in the line of contact of Nagorno Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces remained the same during April 10-16. Azerbaijan continued violating the ceasefire agreement by firing various caliber weapons including 60mm and 82mm mortars and AGS-17 grenade launchers.

As “Armenpress” was informed by the Press Service of the Nagorno Karabakh Defense Ministry, especially serious violations occurred towards Armenian positions in the northeastern and southeastern directions of the contact line, which led to casualties.

The Defense Army forces are confidently monitoring the borders and are conducting actions consistent of the situation.
