Dmitry Medvedev arrives in Yerevan
YEREVAN, APRIL 7, ARMENPRESS. The delegation headed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev arrived in Armenia on an official visit. As “Armenpress” reports, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan greeted his Russian counterpart in the “Zvartnots” airport of Yerevan.
The anthems of the two countries were played during the welcoming ceremony.
Dmitry Medvedev is scheduled to meet with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan during the visit.
The private meeting of the Prime Ministers of Russia and Armenia will take place on April 7. After the private conversation, the delegations will meet and the signing ceremony of the bilateral cooperation document will take place. Dmitry Medvedev and Hovik Abrahamyan will deliver a joint statement.
The Russian Prime Minister will visit Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, to pay tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
