Trade is three times more often in December than in other months in Armenia

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. Experience shows that inflation becomes inevitable in New Year's Eve. As “Armenpress” reports, ArmenianConsumers'Association Chairman Armen Poghosyan made such an observation during the meeting with journalists on November 28.

“The main price growth is expected in frames of meat, fruits, vegetables, beverages and several other products. The price growth is conditioned by Armenian market’s little volume which does not allow the producers and sellers to assure products matching the holidays,” Poghosyan added.

According to the president of the union, they are working at the same rate, they just made products more expensive but people have to make purchases as they do not have choice.

He also mentioned that the trade is three times more often in December than in other months and in January it forms 30% of next months.
