Schoolchildren hosted at Armenian President's Office

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS: Around 300 children from 159 public schools of Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan were hosted Monday at the Office of the President, where they participate in a New Year and Christmas event. The Department for Mass Media and Public Relations of the Armenian President’s Office informed Armenpress that first, the children spent some time with fairytale characters. Subsequently, Santa Claus and Snow Maiden came and gave them presents.

“The objective of the event is for the little children to be able to visits, see the presidential residence, and get the season’s greetings and gifts here,”the Deputy Chief of the President’s Staff Armine Gevorgyan told reporters.

She added that the Office of the President’s New Year and Christmas activities for children have kicked off as of Monday.
