Defense Ministry discusses army recruitment

YEREVAN, 20 NOVEMBER, ARMENPRESS. Issues on army recruitment, the readiness of officers and the improvement of professional capabilities were discussed during a working consultation held at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia. As the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia reports to “ArmenPress”, among the participants of the consultation conducted by Minister Seyran Ohanyan were Chief of the General Headquarters of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, Colonel General Yuri Khachaturov; the Deputy Minister of Defense and Deputy Chief of the AF GH of the Republic of Armenia; heads of departments, as well as other high-ranking military servicemen and special civil servants.

Issues relating to the improvement of the military servicemen’s social and living conditions and, the main provisions for organizing military service in general, as well as several issues relating to legal and legislative reforms in the defense sector were discussed during the consultation.
