Armenia will be theme of folk festival to be held in U.S.A in the coming years

Minister of Culture of the Republic of Armenia Hasmik Poghosyan has received KarenR.Hilliard, theUSAID Mission DirectortoArmenia, Jeffrey Paretchan,Deputy Directorof theEconomic Growth OfficeofUSAID/Armenia and Diana Avetian,Project Management Specialist.As "Armenpress" was informed from the Department of Public Relations of theMinistry of Culture, in the course of the meeting USAID Mission Director Karen Hilliard introduced the current projects implemented in Armenia by the Agency.She noted that predominantly they work in economic development, which includes the fields of information technologies, adding that they have predetermined two other spheres having long-term development potential: agriculture and tourism.
