Yerevan holds AAD coordinating Committee session by CIS Defense Ministers Council

YEREVAN, APRIL 9, ARMENPRESS: The participants assess the jubilee 40th session results of anti-air defense issues coordinating Committee by Defense Ministers of CIS member countries. The Head of the Committee staff, General-Mayor Pavel Kurachenko stressed during the meeting held at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia on April 9 that during the session the participants summarized 2013 work activities and 2014 work plans and schedule.

“We discussed military-technical cooperation, strengthening of cooperation in a number of other areas,” Pavel Kurachenko said. He added that during the session the participants discussed issues regarding anti-air defense system improvement and further development, strengthening of bilateral and multi-lateral cooperation of CIS member countries in the anti-air defense area.
