Carlsen does not want to stay behind Aronian

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY, ARMENPRESS: The current world chess champion Magnus Carlsen considers the victory over Fabiano Caruana to be very important. “It was very important to win, as Levon Aronian had won as well”, - said Carlsen, Armenpress reports. The Norwegian won Caruana in a quite interesting and beautiful game. Carlsen considered his victory to be normal and emphasized that he made “natural” moves to succeed.

Before the final round, Carlsen has got 7 points and Aronian has 6. In case of the victory in the Zurich Chess Challenge the chess players get two points and in case of a draw – 1 point.

The Zurich Chess Challenge was launched on January 29 and will end on February 4.
