Mariam Mkrtchyan wins silver medal at U20 World Championship

YEREVAN, JUNE 13, ARMENPRESS. Mariam Mkrtchyan, the chess player representing Armenia, became the silver medalist of the U20 World Championship.

Mariam Mkrtchyan scored 9.5 points out of 11 possible and became the silver medalist of the U-20 World Championship for girls in Gandhinagar, India.

In 2022, Mariam Mkrtchyan won the U18 World Championship, winning the title of champion ahead of time.
