17-year-old Emin Ohanyan became the vice-champion at U20 Chess World Championship

YEREVAN, JUNE 13, ARMENPRESS. The representatives of the junior chess team of Armenia won the second medal in the U20 World Championship.

The final round of the U20 World Championship for boys in Gandhinagar, India was decisive.

Emin Ohanyan scored 8.5 points out of 11 possible and shared 1-2 places with Nogerbek Kazybek, representing Kazakhstan.

According to additional indicators, Emin became a silver medalist.

Mamikon Gharibyan, who led the standings in the previous round of the tournament, scored 8 points and took 4th place.
