Catholicos of All Armenians hosted Lebanese Ambassador

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS: His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and the Catholicos of All Armenians hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lebanon to the Republic of Armenia Jean Makaron at the Holy See of Mother Etchmiadzin. As Armenpress was reported by the Press Service of the Holy See of Mother Etchmiadzin, during the meeting the Catholicos of All Armenians greeted the Ambassador of Lebanon and expressed his certainty that during his diplomatic mission Jean Makaron will contribute to the strengthening of the friendly bilateral relations between the Republic of Armenia and Lebanon.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lebanon to the Republic of Armenia Jean Makaron in his turn highlighted the relations between the two countries and highly evaluated the role of the Armenian Church in that issue.

His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and the Catholicos of All Armenians and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lebanon to the Republic of Armenia Jean Makaron also touched upon the Armenian community of Lebanon.
