MONUMENT TO ARAM KHACHATURIAN TO BE ERECTED IN MOSCOW

MOSCOW, OCTOBER 30, ARMENPRESS:A monument to world-famous Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian will be inaugurated October 31 in Moscow, Interfax news agency cited a source from Moscow administration as saying. According to the source, the monument will be erected in Bryusov alley, in the park near the Composers’ House. Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov and Armenian delegation headed by the President Robert Kocharian will participate in the ceremony. The authors of the bronze monument to the Armenian composer are architect Igor Voskresenski and sculptor Georgi Frangulian.
