No delegation from Armenia visits Ukraine, affirms Armenian Parliament Speaker

YEREVAN, 7 JUNE, ARMENPRESS.The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, during a briefing with journalists, referred to the fact that the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, had called for the handover of the list of those killed in Bucha, allegedly provided to them by the Ukrainian authorities. He stated that no delegation from Armenia went to Ukraine, noting that he is not commenting on Maria Zakharova.

"It is also mentioned that a delegation went to Ukraine. No delegation has gone from Armenia, but I can ask Ms Zakharova or the Foreign Ministry to convey, for example, the names of more than 200 Armenians who died during the recent military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh. I can also provide the names of more than 100,000 refugees, if they are interested, in the area where they were carrying out peacekeeping activities," said Simonyan.

He noted that he does not comment on absurdities and lies that have become a common practice.

"She is simply lying," said Alen Simonyan, referring to Maria Zakharova's statements.

Regarding the report that the head of the Nor Nork district of Yerevan visited Ukraine, Alen Simonyan mentioned that he will inform the Nor Nork administration so that they can provide an official response to the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"I promise that the district administration will respond or write. Perhaps the husband of our neighbor also went to Ukraine. No deputy, I am not talking of a group of deputies, can go somewhere without anyone knowing about it. This is a lie, a lot of lies," concluded the Speaker of the National Assembly.
