The delegation led by Hakob Arshakyan attends a presentation of Armenian books in China

YEREVAN, JUNE 20, ARMENPRESS. The delegation, headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Armenian National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan, took part in the presentation of Armenian books in China. It was held as part of the 30th Beijing International Book Fair, where more than 220,000 books in Chinese and foreign languages were presented. 

The delegation included Andranik Kocharyan, Lena Nazaryan, Taguhi Ghazaryan, Hayk Tsirunyan from the Civil Contract party and MP from the Hayastan party,GeghamNazaryan.

5 books translated from Armenian into Chinese were presented at the fair - “GevorgMarzpetuni”, “History of Armenia” by MovsesKhorenatsi, “Stories” by GrigorZohrab, “Wounds of Armenia” by Khachatur Abovyan and “Armenian Folk Tales” which were translated as part of the China-Armenia Classics Mutual Translation Project, as mentioned in the statement of the Public Relations and Information Department of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

Currently, one of the largest book fairs in the world has become one of the key platforms for copyright trading.
