Russian foreign ministry comments on Armenia's non-participation in CSTO defense ministers meeting

YEREVAN, JUNE 20, ARMENPRESS. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin commented on Armenia’s non-participation in the Council of Ministers of Defense meeting.

Galuzin noted that Moscow expects Yerevan to understand that the CSTO platform provides all opportunities for cooperation in matters of regional security, as mentioned in the RIA Novosti statement.

 “We expect that our Armenian partners, and we remain allies, will nevertheless come to the understanding that the most effective method of ensuring regional security is cooperation between regional states, and the CSTO platform provides every opportunity for this,” Galuzin said.
