17 bridges collapse as a result of floods in Lori and Tavush - Sanosyan

YEREVAN, MAY 27, ARMENPRESS. As a result of floods in Lori and Tavush, 17 bridges have collapsed, 5 of which are large bridges, said Minister of Territorial Management and Infrastructures GnelSanosyan during the briefing.

"A total of 17 bridges collapsed, including some small ones of community importance and 5 major bridges. Restoring the larger bridges will require significant effort and time. As a result of the collapse of those bridges, a serious problem of communication with settlements was created. If solutions were found in the case of small communities and there is no communication problem in those communities, in the case of the collapse of large bridges, a communication problem was created," said Sanosyan.
