Milan Fashion Week: Armenian designers walked wearing T-shirts with inscription "Stand with Armenia"

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. New collections of Armenian designers were displayed at the Visconti Palacewithin the frameworks of Textile Alliance Armenia-Italy business forum and Milan Fashion Week, the Armenian Ministry of Economy said.

The fall-winter collections of 8 Armenian designers (Sončess, Faina, RUZANĒ, Ariga Torosian, Nelly Serobyan, LOOM Weaving, Vahan Khachatryan, Kivera Naynomis) were on display.

Before the start of the show the Armenian designers presented a video message talking about the actions of Azerbaijan, the tortures of the killed Armenian servicewoman. Then, they walked on the catwalk wearing T-shirts with the inscription "Stand with Armenia". The author of the thematic paintings on the T-shirts is painter from Artsakh Liana.

The Textile Alliance Armenia-Italy business forum and the fashion show this year were held for the first time with the support of the Armenian Ministry of Economy.
