Snoop Dogg's Yerevan concert possibly set for August this year

YEREVAN, JUNE 5, ARMENPRESS. Well-known rapper Snoop Dogg's concert in Yerevan may take place in August of this year, announcedby the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyanin the National Assembly, answering the question of Arsen Torosyan, deputy of the Civil Agreement faction of the National Assembly.

The minister reminded that Snoop Dogg's concert was scheduled to take place in Yerevan in September 2023, but it was postponed for known reasons.“During this year, we are waiting for an offer from the organization. the organization should offer three dates for holding the concert, from which we should choose the most expedient one," Andreasyan said.

She explained that they are waiting for the proposals from the concert organizing company, although they have a preliminary impression that the concert might be held in August of this year.

The concert of the well-known rapper Snoop Dogg, which was scheduled to take place in Yerevan in September 2023, was postponed due to the aggression of Azerbaijan against Nagorno-Karabakh.

The Armenian government allocated about $6 million to the "Doping Space" company for the organization of Snoop Dogg's concert in August 2023.
