PM Pashinyan awards Japanese scientist Takeo Kanade with State Prize for Global Investment in IT

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan received on December 5 professor at Carnegie Mellon University, author of Origami World theory, creator of “virtual reality” understanding Takeo Kanade, who was awarded with State Prize for Global Investment in IT.

The PM noted that the decision to award Takeo Kanade with the prize is the high appreciation of his achievements and noted that his experience in science and high technologies is exemplary for the Armenian youth, who make the first steps in the IT sector.

Takeo Kanade thanked the PM for the appreciation of his activities and said he sees a great future for high technologies in Armenia. He presented his activities to Nikol Pashinyan and expressed readiness to closely cooperate with the Armenian partners.
