Pashinyan, Macron discuss agenda of Armenian-French relations in Paris

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 12, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan had a private meeting with President of France Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the 2nd Paris Peace Forum, the Armenian PM’s Office told Armenpress.

The French President thanked the Armenian PM for accepting the invitation to take part in the Forum and stated that he attaches importance to the development of cooperation with Armenia at different directions.

In his turn PM Pashinyan also thanked Macron for the warm welcome and the organization of the Forum at the highest level. The Prime Minister said the meetings on various occasions give a new impetus to the development and strengthening of the bilateral ties.

Nikol Pashinyan and Emmanuel Macron discussed the urgent issues of the Armenian-French relations’ agenda, touched upon the ongoing actions aimed at launching the Armenia-EU visa liberalization dialogue.

The sides highlighted the organization of high-level mutual visits and reached a respective agreement on this direction.

Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan arrived in France on a working visit together with spouse Anna Hakobyan.
