Supreme Judicial Council President doesn’t see pressures on judiciary

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. President of the Supreme Judicial Council of Armenia Ruben Vardazaryan says no pressures are made on the judiciary and the system is more than independent.

“Today, there are definitely no pressures on the judicial system and it has never been as free and independent. Remembering myself 10 years ago when I was a judge, I can state that there has never been an increase of salaries of judges, in number of judges in the government’s programs”, he said.
