6.1 magnitude earthquake strikes eastern Iran

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS. A 6,1 magnitude earthquake has stuck eastern Iran on December 13, the European Mediterranean Seismology Center said.

According to the report, the epicenter of the quake was located 63km north from Kerman.

No reports are yet available in terms of destructions and fatalities.

Earlier on December 12, 18 people were wounded as a 5,7 magnitude earthquake hit Kerman province.
